The best thing to do is to finish high school and get your diploma!
You can enlist with a GED, but you must meet ALL the criteria below.
- You must obtain a 65 qualifying score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
- In addition to the GED, you will need 15 college-level credits (courses 101 or greater)
During a one year period, on average only 1% of the new enlistees are GED holders.
In addition, GED holders must wait on slots to become available, which can sometimes take more than a year.
