Air Force Tuition Assistance

Air Force Tuition Assistance is a program designed to help active-duty airmen get college credit at almost any two-year, four-year, or correspondence school.

The program pays out up to 100% of tuition and fees, up to the following amounts:

  • $250 per credit hour (for semesters)
  • $166 per credit hour (for quarters)
  • up to $4500 in a fiscal year

Tuition Assistance is not available if you are getting a degree equal to or lower than your current degree (second bachelor's degree), or for any degree higher than a Master's. You may be able to apply online through the Air Force portal (https://www.my.af.mil/faf/FAF/fafHome.jsp).
