There is a wide range of products available through Airforce’s web shop, such as jackets, T-shirts, sweaters, swimming shorts and bags. Each product has a different application. Because of this, we are always dedicated to finding the perfect materials for each of our products. Every season, we are dedicated to creating the most beautiful and comfortable fabrics for our products. In addition, sustainability is of great importance to us. As a result, we have used a wide range of sustainable materials for this season’s collections.

Sustainable

DuPont™ Sorona® padding: A number of jackets from our new collection are lined with DuPont™ Sorona® fibres. The production of these fibres, which are made out of renewable plant-based materials, does not require a lot of energy and emits fewer greenhouse gases than other, similar fibres. These DuPont™ Sorona® fibres are lightweight and breathable. They are easy to wash and they dry quickly.

Repreve: A number of shirts from our new collection are partially made out of Repreve materials. Repreve transforms recycled bottles into an astonishing fibre. Yarn is made out of these fibres. The production process contains properties such as moisture wicking, adaptive heating and cooling, hydrophobicity and more on fibre level. For reliable, sustainable quality.

Our Jacket Fabrics

Classic: This is Airforce’s neutral fabric. This fabric consists of 64% cotton and 36% polyester. Because of this composition of materials, the fabric is lightweight and flexible, but also functional and warm. Our Classic fabric is a non-glossy fabric.

Classic Deluxe: This fabric consists of 68% cotton and 32% polyester. Since this fabric contains slightly more cotton than the Classic, it feels a little thicker. Apart from this, this fabric has a lot in common with the Classic, as it is a neutral, non-glossy fabric.

Herringbone: This slightly glossy fabric is made out of 100% polyester and woven in a fish bone pattern. In addition, this fabric has a deeper colour. There is a silicone coating on the inner face of the Herringbone fabric. This coating makes Herringbone jackets extra waterproof.

Softshell: This fabric is elastic due to its composition of 92% polyester and 8% spandex. Even more important is the fact that a Softshell garment is completely windproof and waterproof. Softshell is often used for outdoor clothing.

Functional: This 100% polyester, slightly glossy fabric has a firmer feel than our other fabrics.
